Former Bismarck Mayor Bill Sorensen has died at 76. The Bismarck Tribune called him a city and state leader and legendary entertainer, and KFYR-TV reports he died Saturday.
Sorensen served 24 years on the Bismarck city commission, including two terms as mayor, and he was also a North Dakota legislator. He was a magician, too, entertaining in Medora for more than 30 years.
