  • Scam callers in North Dakota, first reported in Fargo, pose as police officers to raise money for officer training (they usually ask for a credit card or gift cards) and police urge anyone who receives the call to hang up and contact their local department.  KX News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Joan Hall, an instructional aide at Jeannette Myhre Elementary School, was named the 2025-26 Education Support Professional of the Year by North Dakota United at a ceremony Saturday in Bismarck—earning praise for her patient work with students and colleagues. The union representing over 11,000 public educators made the selection—highlighting the vital role of support professionals in education.  KX News
  • The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is celebrating National Library Week (April 6-12) with events that offer public computers, free Wi-Fi, ebooks, and creative programs.
