- ➤ United Tribes Technical College’s engineering department is offering STEM kits to reservation schools to spark interest in science among Native youth. The initiative aims to broaden early exposure to engineering and math, with kits featuring fun activities like slime-making (and ornament crafts) to inspire future careers. KFYR-TV
- ➤ UND’s School of Aerospace Science graduates secure job offers from NASA and top aerospace companies as they work on a moon instrument launch and the VIPER rover project; the program was started with help from Buzz Aldrin and remains a leader in space studies in Bismarck. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Underwood officials are advising residents not to use tap water after a water main break on County Rd 14 drained the water tower and lowered pressure that risks contamination, and households should use bottled water for drinking, bathing, and laundry until tests verify safety. KFYR-TV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota's Department of Health and Human Services was awarded $199 million to support rural health care across the state. The funds will strengthen workforce training and encourage healthier choices by limiting sugary purchases with SNAP benefits following a November health transformation application. KX News
- ➤ Following a fatal explosion in Pennsylvania last week, Sanford Health reviewed its emergency safety procedures and now activates an incident management team & communications plan to address weather, utility, and technology issues. - ➤ Many veterans and concussion patients are trying hyperbaric oxygen therapy at Dynamic Health Solutions in Bismarck after studies suggest it can help heal injuries.
