- ➤ Los Mariachis Bar & Grill is now welcoming customers on Main Avenue with a Tex-Mex menu that features unique seafood dishes including shrimp, fajitas, and burritos. Owner Guillermo Saldana said the new restaurant is open after months of hard work. KX News

- ➤ North Dakota gas prices fell over the holidays, with AAA reporting regular gas at $2.56 nationally now compared to $2.64 on Dec. 11; in Bismarck, prices remain slightly higher at $2.71 and the Energy Information Administration projects further declines into 2026. KX News

- ➤ North Dakota Dollars for Scholars is accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors and college students starting January 1, with about $290,000 in awards available for the 2026-27 academic year (applications are due by April 1). KX News
