- ➤ John Bendish injured his hand while harvesting corn and quickly sought help, getting fitted for a prosthetic—he now resumes welding, golfing and other daily activities while advising others to keep a good attitude. KX News

- ➤ 6-year-old hockey player Jagger Lindsey, battling leukemia, has united the local hockey community who show support at Bismarck High and Century High & beyond. His family, now in Seattle for treatment, remains hopeful as Jagger continues playing hockey in his hospital room. KFYR-TV
