- ➤ The US Army Corps of Engineers released the final environmental impact statement for the Dakota Access Pipeline, which sets stage for a record of decision in early next year and approves the easement to cross Lake Oahe — state officials praise the move for upholding energy security for our community. - ➤ Bismarck city offices, landfill, and hazardous waste center will close at noon Wednesday, Dec. 24 and remain closed Thursday for the Christmas holiday; garbage and recycling collections will follow a revised schedule with Thursday’s gold route picked up Friday. City of Bismarck
