- ➤ Keelboat Park is closed as a riverfront project is set to start early next year — city officials say the planned work will update park features — with construction scheduled to begin soon. Bismarck Tribune
- ➤ ND Outdoors explained deer hunting rules for a season that started November 8, urging hunters to wear 400 square inches of fluorescent orange above the waist and an orange hat while keeping their deer tag on hand; officials said hunters must follow rules for land posting and deer retrieval—helping ensure safe and legal hunts. - ➤ The FAA ordered a 10% reduction in air traffic at 40 major airports nationwide, and while North Dakota airports are not required to cut flights, Williston and Bismarck have canceled flights amid the ongoing federal shutdown—Williston canceled a Delta flight to Minneapolis for today and two United flights to Denver for Monday, and Bismarck canceled two flights scheduled for Saturday. Officials warn that delays and further cancellations may come as the shutdown continues. KX News
