- ➤ Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library’s Children’s Library will host a free Local Author Showcase on Monday, November 3 at 6:00 p.m.—featuring local writers in story times and meet-and-greet sessions for readers of all ages. City of Bismarck
- ➤ Bismarck Gold and Silver Exchange bought two silver coins (minted in 1982) to mark Napoleon’s 100th anniversary that show former Secretary of State Ben Meier (a local native who served 34 years) after owner Larry Schneider asked him on Fourth St. Many collectors now join a long wait list for these commemorative coins.
