- ➤ 701 Food Trucks will host its 11th annual food truck festival in downtown Bismarck with over 10 trucks offering local and out‐of‐state dishes and family activities. The festival will be held this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.—each day featuring a unique food truck challenge including a Sweet Tooth Taste Test, a Bloody Mary Skewer Contest and a Makin’ Bacon challenge. - ➤ Little Cottage Cafe changed its operating hours effective Saturday, September 6, with doors opening from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on all days except Tuesday—when it remains closed. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Bismarck Police are searching for Zachary Ward—32-year-old white male with hazel eyes and blond hair who was last seen on September 5—after he was released from a local hospital following a mental health evaluation and reported missing by his mother on September 8. KX News

- ➤ LibertyStream and Wellspring Hydro received a $7.5 million funding package for North Dakota’s lithium industry, with $700,000 designated for a refining unit — initial test runs have been completed. ND Industrial Commission Deputy Director Jordan Kannianen said small-scale commercial production will begin next year and grow over time. KX News

- ➤ Burlington-Des Lacs Elementary School in Ward County was named a Blue Ribbon school on September 8 by state superintendent Kirsten Baesler—celebrating its teamwork among staff, students, and parents—after showing strong academic progress with about 415 students. KX News
