  • A 28-year-old Bismarck man suffered serious injuries early Sunday morning after fleeing a traffic stop near I-94 and crashing on State Street while not wearing a helmet—state patrol and Burleigh County are investigating possible criminal charges.  KFYR-TV

  • North Dakota topped WalletHub’s 2025 list evaluating work ethic by measuring workweek hours, employment rates, and volunteerism. The Roughrider State earned the title for the fourth consecutive year—its high employment and long workweeks driving its ranking.  KX News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Today, the North Dakota Highway Patrol reminded drivers to buckle up and drive sober on Labor Day to cut the risk of traffic deaths. Patrols will be out in full force — checking for speeding, impaired driving, and right-of-way violations as the National Safety Council estimates over 400 lives may be lost in traffic crashes.  KX News
