- ➤ Three people were injured on I-94 when a pickup truck pulled into the median to turn around in front of a van carrying the Mayville State University Golf team in Burleigh County Friday evening—both drivers and one passenger were taken to a nearby hospital and the crash is under investigation. - ➤ Bismarck Police explain that if a child is missing, parents first call friends and family before filing a report that goes to an investigator who can use parental cell phone data; school resource officers also help track down runaways. In North Dakota, 11 kids went missing with nine found while six new cases were added to the Missing Persons website—officials stress the process differs for juveniles compared to adults. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Dr. Lauren Huddle, a board-certified forensic pathologist, began leading the state forensic examiner’s office on July 8 and will help county coroners investigate suspicious deaths—filling a year-long gap after Dr. Barrie Miller resigned in April 2024. KFYR-TV
- ➤ Bismarck mobile homeowners have until Sept. 1 to apply for a $1,600 primary residence tax credit—this window is set to give them the credit upfront since they pay property taxes early, and next year, all homeowners will need to apply from January through March. KFYR-TV
