- ➤ Prosecutors charged 51-year-old Robert Wayne Walsh with two felony counts after he threatened bank employees with a bomb from his backpack in a downtown bank on Tuesday—he had a previous bomb threat conviction and the incident forced 48 employees and 3 customers to evacuate during a four-hour standoff. - ➤ A historic residence in Bismarck was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places (the federal list of historic properties) and the designation officially marks its importance to local heritage (an honor reserved for notable buildings). Bismarck Tribune
- ➤ The State Historical Society of North Dakota is asking people and groups to donate military items from 1945 to today to help grow its collection—materials like letters, videos, photos, and even weapons with proper paperwork are requested for preserving history.
