- ➤ The North Dakota State Water Commission approved $17M in cost-share funding today for water projects to boost supply, flood protection, dam rehabilitation and other improvements across the state. Key projects include nearly $9.6M for flood protection in Valley City — $3.97M for water storage in the University of Mary area and $1.45M for treatment plant upgrades — with extra federal and state funds totaling $21.69M allocated for water supply modifications.
