- ➤ Memorial Highway in Mandan is being renovated and is blocking business entrances, causing problems for local stores like Open Water Marine. ND DOT and Reede Construction said the work, which updates the road and utilities, will last 2 to 3 weeks—once finished, the road will be ready for harsh winters. KX News
- ➤ Officials with Orsted said at a meeting Thursday morning with the Public Service Commission that nine turbines for the Badger Wind Farm near Wishek need a waiver to use standard blinking lights near Wishek Airport while the rest use a sensor system that activates with approaching aircraft. The company said that without the waiver the project—featuring 92 turbines in Logan and McIntosh counties—could lose about $60 million in value and pay local landowners $12 million less, and it aims to have the wind farm operational by the end of the year.
