- ➤ Heavy rains of over 2.5 inches on Sunday night caused pipe backups that flooded basements on Michigan Ave in South Bismarck. Crews from Arrow Service Team worked all day to remove wet carpet while city officials plan to restore the regular wastewater flow once construction along Airport Rd is complete. KFYR-TV

- ➤ A Bismarck woman pleaded not guilty to reckless endangerment and DUI charges after her June 17 crash hit a vehicle and a dump truck — she faces additional charges for fleeing police, disobeying an officer and driving with a suspended license, and her trial is set for Oct. 8. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Bill Haase was named the new wildlife division chief of the North Dakota Game and Fish Department after former chief Casey Anderson was promoted to deputy director in June. Haase, who has worked with the department for 22 years—most recently as assistant wildlife division chief for four years—brings extensive experience in wildlife resource management. KX News
- ➤ Skyline Boulevard will be closed for road construction between State Street (U.S.83) and the east Walmart driveway starting Wednesday, July 23 and the closure is expected to last two weeks while drivers are advised to use the detour (via 43rd Avenue and 19th Street). KX News
