- ➤ On Wednesday morning, the Bismarck Larks set a new record by collecting over 3,300 pounds of food at Municipal Ballpark, beating last year's record of 3,150 pounds. The food was given to Great Plains Food Bank to help local children, seniors, and families, and fans received limited-edition Larks Season 9 Jerseys—adding to a record-breaking day. KX News
- ➤ Bismarck Parks and Recreation District will hold eight events in July to celebrate National Park and Recreation Month. The activities include a pickleball mixer on July 9 at Elk Ridge Park, indoor ice skating on July 13, a Photo Contest running from July 1 through 31, free roller skating on July 31 at Capital Ice Complex—other events are Park Clue at North Central Park, Rock the Deck for middle schoolers on July 17, and an outdoor movie night on July 18. - ➤ A Bismarck man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly shooting a homeless man—his bond is set at $100,000. Bismarck Tribune
- ➤ A man is facing six felony counts in Mandan for allegedly trying to steal and sell cattle nearly 10 years after he and another man were first accused of cattle theft—his bond was set at $20,000 and charges against the other were dismissed. KX News

- ➤ Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library will host the 'Know My Culture' Youth Series, offering interactive sessions that celebrate the traditions of India, China, South Korea, and the Philippines at the Children’s Library Story Room. - ➤ Days after a powerful storm, city crews removed over 1,150 tons of debris and are working to clear roads, parks, and public spaces in Bismarck. The city is offering free curbside branch pickup on regular garbage days through next week — residents can also pick up free mulch and firewood at the landfill and should report any dangerous hanging branches. - ➤ East Avenue C will close for two weeks starting Monday, June 30, for reconstruction between 9th and 16th streets. The city set detour routes—eastbound drivers must go north on 9th, east on Boulevard, and south on 16th while westbound drivers take south on 16th, west on Rosser, and north on 9th. KX News
- ➤ Bismarck plans to begin a drainage overhaul in the Tyler Coulee watershed in 2026 — northwest homeowners might face special assessments as part of the city-led project. Bismarck Tribune
