- ➤ Yesterday at 11:28 a.m., the Bismarck Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at a strip mall on the north end after a fuel-powered generator with a partially open door caused dangerous gas levels, and firefighters used ventilation to clear the air with no injuries reported. - ➤ On June 11 at about 6:23 p.m., police responded when two children at Kirkwood Mall asked for help finding their mother who had left them unattended for four hours; she was later found passed out behind her car, tested positive for several substances, and is now charged with two felony counts of child neglect, a Class B misdemeanor for APC-drugs, and an infraction for possession of marijuana—her preliminary hearing is set for July 14 while her felony trial is scheduled for October.
