- ➤ The North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum will offer June sessions for Junior Historians for kindergarten to fifth graders and Little Kids, Big World for toddlers, with interactive state history activities starting on June 7—parents will gather at the west entrance information desk for session details. - ➤ Sen. Kevin Cramer—R-ND—joined a bipartisan group of senators in Ottawa to meet with Canadian officials and discuss trade, defense and security cooperation. He said North Dakota exported over $3.9 billion in goods to Canada last year and that the talks also covered trade disruptions and Arctic readiness. KFYR-TV
- ➤ State lawmakers approved a budget that includes $5 million for wildlife habitat and access on private lands—efforts aimed at offsetting fewer deer licenses and reduced hunting acreage; Game and Fish plans to add about 40,000 acres over the next few years by converting expiring CRP acreage into wildlife management areas.
