Bismarck Parks and Recreation Department announced the 2026 outdoor pool and splash pad schedule — the plan lets residents know when public pools and splash pads will be available for summer fun.

KMOT First News at Six Sportscast featured a summer documentary on 82 tornadoes in 2025 airing on TV, and reported that crews responded to a fire at an apartment complex near Kirkwood Mall while also showcasing a tour of Bismarck State College’s new Bavendick Center.

North Dakota Game and Fish announced they will lift the no-camping rule for Memorial Day week, allowing overnight camping on May 26 + May 27 in approved Wildlife Management Areas.
