- ➤ Tractor enthusiasts will gather on May 31 at Buckstop Junction for the 10th Annual Dakota Aged Iron Tractor Trek to support the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. Participants will ride a 14-mile round-trip route and enjoy a tractor show, silent auction, hayrides, tractor drives, and raffle prizes—registration begins at 9 a.m. and costs $25. KX News

- ➤ Heavy rainfall has relieved the dry spring but has raised concerns among gardeners that too much water may cause root rot, mold, and fungus — nursery manager Casey Cashman said gardeners should lighten their soil with perlite, vermiculite and compost to prevent these issues. - ➤ Greenpeace asked a North Dakota judge to lower a $667 million jury award from a trial on pipeline protests in 2016 and 2017, saying the damages are too high and include extra costs.
