- ➤ A cattle truck crash injured the driver and 26 head of cattle early Saturday near Napoleon — the driver was taken to the hospital while Steele Veterinary clinic and emergency responders from Napoleon and Logan County moved the cattle. KFYR-TV

- ➤ The North Dakota Game and Fish Department partnered with the University of North Dakota on a catfish study to lower the number of black bullheads in Sweetbriar Lake west of Mandan. Fisheries crews stocked over 4,000 channel catfish from Lake Oahe, which reduced the bullhead count by 44% during the first growing season — a result that shows the benefit of the state agency and university working together.
