The Great Plains Food Bank announced four 2024 Hunger Relief Champions—two of whom work in Bismarck, including Brenda Janssen from the Regional Distribution Center and Katie Johnke from Bismarck Burleigh Public Health—recognizing their significant contributions to ending hunger.

The awards honor individuals who lead key local initiatives and inspire community action against food waste and hunger.

Fleet Farm is opening a new 140,000 square foot store at 1025 64th Ave. NE in Bismarck that will feature an auto service center, car wash, live bait station and outdoor garden center + pet wash.

General Manager Dustin Rogne said the store, years in the making, will host family events on Saturdays for the next seven weeks.
