- ➤ Today, the Bismarck Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Alberta Heights Apartments on the 4000 block of Lockport Street, where a north-west corner collapsed as residents evacuated and resources are available for those affected. KX News

- ➤ Bismarck is getting a new drive-through stand by 7 Brew on State Street between Arby’s+McDonald’s, where the chain offers customizable coffee, lemonades, and energy drinks; a confirmed opening date has not been set yet. KFYR-TV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A local group has launched The Sibley Trees Project to plant 100 trees at General Sibley Park and Campground. The organization aims to raise $18,000 by next spring to boost greenery and wildlife habitats, with Bismarck Parks & Rec assisting on planting and upkeep. KFYR-TV
- ➤ North Dakota Game and Fish says the paddlefish snagging season will close Friday, May 8 at 7 p.m. and a snag and release period runs May 9 to 15 when snaggers with unused tags can fish if they release all catches immediately. KFYR-TV
