- ➤ The Bismarck-Mandan Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a website that lists local events for residents and visitors to learn what's happening around town. The online tool will help the community stay informed and plan outings. KFYR-TV
- ➤ Peep the cat recently moved to the Dakota Cat Cafe and is looking for his forever home, adding to the 50+ cats that have been adopted since December. Book a visit at the cafe to meet him and other playful felines. KX News
- ➤ Keelboat Park's Commons project is building a riverfront space with a bandshell, community room, and playground; local anglers are disappointed by the loss of a central boat ramp, but project leaders say it will boost tourism and finish next summer. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Luna Nox Boutique in downtown is set to close on July 31 after five years in business. The size-inclusive store on 4th Street is holding closeout sales now — owner Jaime Bender did not share a reason. KFYR-TV
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Washburn’s Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center will host Dugouts and Pirogues (the interactive tabletop event) on May 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Washburn, where attendees role-play historical soldiers and test a new way to explore the expedition’s story. KFYR-TV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students at Mandan High School experienced a National Guard showcase on campus that gave them an inside look at military career paths and community programs. KFYR-TV

- ➤ City officials announced that starting May 4, south-bound State Street & east-bound Calgary Avenue will have reduced lanes for traffic signal repairs & will last about three weeks. No detour is planned. KX News

- ➤ Friday Night Frenzy Spring Edition reported final scores from local high school girls tennis, soccer, softball, and baseball events as well as college baseball and softball matchups. KX News will continue season-long coverage—keeping local fans updated. KX News
