- ➤ Sen. John Hoeven is seeking extra funding to aid farmers facing rising fertilizer costs after meeting Farm Service Agency workers on Friday. Meanwhile, iMagicon is underway at the North Dakota State Fair Center and Minot has announced awards to improve housing for low & moderate income residents. KX News
- ➤ Bismarck officials announced a closure of Durango Drive at Driftwood Lane starting Monday, Apr. 27 for valley gutter repairs. The work will last until May 4 with no detour route provided. KX News

- ➤ A North Dakota woman became the first to receive a defibrillator implant for a rare heart condition usually seen in men. Doctors said the device could help save lives as they monitor her progress at the local hospital. KFYR-TV
