- ➤ A Venezuelan man was arrested in Bismarck on a $50,000 bond after he allegedly attacked his roommate (reportedly) with a knife. Bismarck Tribune
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Governor Kelly Armstrong supports two bills that would require schools to set clear rules for using cell phones and other electronic devices; Senate Bill 2354 (sponsored by Sen. Michelle Axtman) would also cover laptops and tablets while House Bill 1160 (sponsored by Rep. Jim Jonas) would focus on cell phones, both making exceptions for health and individual education plans. - ➤ BNSF Railway defended its decision to close a 400-foot section of the River Road trail through mid—2027 for safety and construction needs during new rail bridge work as some city commissioners questioned the necessity of the closure.
