- ➤ Film 'Medora: Empress of the Badlands' will premiere on April 17 at the Grand Theater with a red-carpet event and afterparty at the Bismarck Event Center Arena. It was filmed on location in Medora and Bismarck to tell a historic love story featuring Medora and the Marquis de Morès. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Small towns statewide are facing milk shortages as local dairies have dropped, with processing plants closing (since there were over 200 dairies in 2000, now fewer than 20 exist). Schools and grocers report unpredictable shipments and short shelf lives (for example, white milk is more available than chocolate milk). KFYR-TV
- ➤ The Bank of North Dakota is preparing Roughrider Coin, a new stablecoin tied to the US Dollar that promises faster, lower-cost transfers using immediate minting + burning between institutions.
