- ➤ Mandan celebrated the start of 2026 with a 20-minute fireworks show on Wednesday that set a world record and lit up the night sky. Local residents enjoyed a vibrant display to mark the New Year. Bismarck Tribune
- ➤ On New Year's Eve, Mandan Progress Organization launched 2.5 million roman candles from the Mandan High School parking lot to try to set a world record in a fireworks show supporting local causes such as the Mandan High School Marching Band, Western North Dakota Honor Flight, and Wounded Warrior Project. - ➤ Mandan set a Guinness world record when 2.8 million fireworks lit the sky above Mandan High School on New Year's Eve. The sold-out 20-minute show raised funds for the marching band’s London trip + for veteran projects, uniting the community. KX News
